We are the tree. We are always trying to set ourselves up, and lead our own lives. When we do so, we always end up falling short of expectations. People expect us to come through, but we can’t always because we are sinful, flawed humans (Romans 3:23). Thankfully, we have a God who loves us, and was willing that his son should die for our sins. Now when we have Jesus in our life, we can depend on him for the strength. Take it from me, the new life won’t be easy, and yes, you will fall, but God does so to teach us, and we will grow in Godly wisdom if we listen to Him.
