God does not look for the outer appearance, but the heart. That sure seems to contradict what the world says, doesn’t it? 1 Samuel 16:7b says,”…for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.” This is another reminder that we should always Look to the Bible for the truth, and also for eternal life.
